White House Decries 'Democratic Hoax' as Additional Epstein Estate Images Disclosed

Democratic lawmakers have made public a additional set of what they labeled "disturbing" images from the property of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The initial drop of 19 images—some of which have been seen before—along with another 70 released later on Friday constitute a tiny fraction of the nearly 100,000 images released to the House oversight committee, which is probing the conduct and connections of Epstein.

The disgraced financier died by an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking crimes.

Notable Figures in the Photos

Among the prominent personalities seen in the opening set are public figures including film director Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin conglomerate.

Donald Trump appears in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are blacked out.

White House Response

The White House responded to the release in a statement, accusing Democrats of selectively "choosing" the photographs for electoral motives and to "attempt to fabricate a false narrative."

"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been consistently disproven," a White House spokesperson remarked, asserting that "this presidency has done more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have ever done by frequently urging openness, making public reams of records, and urging more inquiries into Epstein's Democrat friends."

Democratic Lawmaker Comment

The images were disclosed lacking captions, but per a California Democrat and senior member of the oversight committee, they prompt further inquiries about Epstein's links with the rich and powerful.

"It is time to stop this White House obfuscation and deliver justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he said in a release.

The release of these materials occurs alongside the oversight committee proceeding with its investigation into the Epstein matter.
